  Barbara's professionalism showed through in everything she did, from the first visit to our home to the final close. She went out of her way to help my wife and I with all the little snags that pop up, such as hanging a mirror in our bathroom and repairing damage to our porch railing that our mover had hit. She was always available to answer questions and make suggestions. Her expert guidance was essential in preserving our "sanity" in a drawn-out sale.

  I do not exaggerate when I say that Barbara is the perfect real estate agent. My mother was selling the home she loved in order to be with family out of state. The sale was complicated because the house was built in the 1700s and therefore had many 'eccentricities', and the sale also involved an in-ground pool that was under major repair during the time the house was on the market. What's more, I live out of state so I was not regularly available in person to assist my mother with the process. Barbara was with us every step of the way, and never missed a beat. She understood how attached my mother was to the property, and was able offer her kindness and emotional support but also firm and thoughtful guidance. And she was a trusted and transparent partner to me as I dealt long distance with repair contractors, packers, movers, and of course offers as we worked through the sale. With all the 'above and beyond' support it's almost easy to forget how masterful she was at the fundamentals. She knows the Fairfield County market inside and out, and was able to obtain maximum value for the property, which ended up being more than we thought possible. She knew our attorney and worked hand in hand with him for a smooth closing, and whenever we needed any additional help, she always found someone, even to the point of asking her husband to re-hang a chandelier! And her support continued even after the sale went through. When I said that Barbara was with us every step of the way, I meant it. She was there as the last box got packed on the truck, and returned the next morning to be sure the house was ready to be turned over to the buyer. We literally could not have asked Barbara for more support than she gave us. She is truly unique amongst real estate agents. (And I've worked with my fair share!)
